Its not all about XJ40...
Although the XJ40 Register is the flagship project, there are some other registers too which takes the research to a whole new level and to an entirely different audience.
My work also documents the amazing cars which are the X350-X358 (2002-2009) and the wonderful X400 (Type 2000 - 2009).
X350 & X400
X350 Register (inc. X356 & X358)
Having owned both an X350 and an X356, I know just how good these cars are. The X350 Register is now complete with 83,518 cars, but the work doesn't stop there. There are still many details to complete such as where they are now, as its not uncommon for exports outside the U.K. to move around, especially in Europe.
X400 Register (X-Type)
I was buying X-Types when they were new, I love them... You wont find any "Mondeo in a dress" nonsense here.
The little X-Type is the best kept automotive secret out there, still very under appreciated and patiently waiting their time to be given the respect they deserve. It will happen, so buy one while you can!
Work on the X400 Register has exceeded 100,000 cars, which sounds like a lot, but there were 363,576 built in total. A long way to go!
